Jeffery Peter Couturier

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffery Peter Couturier, age 76, of St. Petersburg, Florida, who passed away on May 17, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1948, in Traverse City, Michigan, to Willard (Bill) E. Couturier and Pauline E. (Weber) Couturier. Jeff graduated from Saint Francis High School and went on to have a successful career in management and consulting, and later a Licensed Condo Association Manager. He tried to retire several times, but his need to help others always drew him back to work.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing on his boat, playing cards, and watching Tampa Bay baseball and hockey. He was a longtime coach of little league baseball, and spent 20 years dedicated to the Bay Pines community. He will be remembered as a dedicated father, uncle, grandfather, recent great-grandfather, and loyal friend and neighbor.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Maxine (Gabourie) Couturier; his daughter Jodi and her husband, Mike; his son Jeff and his wife, Maria; his grandchildren, Hailey (Hunter), Ethan, Sophia, Lucas, Chelsea (Bill), and Nikolas (Shelby), and great-grandson Gibson; and his sisters Joyce, and Judy (Art); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline, and father, Bill.

Jeff's wishes were for a celebration of life later this year, which will take place in Traverse City, Michigan. Please contact the family for details if you would like to join us.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jeff's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
